Celebrate National Nurses Week

National Nurses Week is May 6th - 12th and the theme this year is “Nurses: Inspire, Innovate, Influence.” National Nurses Week ends on May 12th, Florence Nightingale’s Birthday (1820-1910). She was the founder of modern nursing. She served as a manager of nurses during the Crimean War and was known as the "Lady with the Lamp" while making rounds to wounded soldiers at night. We want to celebrate nurses this week with the following list of freebies and discounts:

The Reason for the Season

As the stores begin to fill with holiday gift merchandise, and Black Friday and Cyber Monday marketing fills the media, it is a good time to step back and revisit the priorities in our lives. As a healthcare technology service support company, Nobl helps the end-user, frontline providers of care every day. We understand the value they bring to each patient, the sacrifices they make to continue in a profession that while gratifying can also be exhausting, and the critical link they provide to keep America healthy.

Helping Hands during Hurricane Harvey

Sometimes we get caught up in the rigors of life, the stresses at work and the never-ending to-do list. But with the recent tragic events caused by Hurricane Harvey in Texas, we are reminded what is important – family, friends, health, and happiness. As a healthcare technology company supporting the everyday workflow and documentation of nurses and nursing leaders across the country, we have many friends and colleagues in the hurricane’s path and we wish them “Godspeed” and safety to start the journey back.

Our “Not Impossible” Lab of Nurse Rounding Tools

As a busy baby-boomer with two jobs and an elderly mother, who enjoys time with my husband and adult children, I have purposely avoided getting started watching YouTube, TED Talks, and other social media pursuits because I know that they can become a time drain. The information explosion is addictive! One of the plenary speakers at the 2017 AONE Annual Meeting was Mick Eberling, the founder of Not Impossible Labs.

Nobl at ANCC Magnet 2016
ANCC's National Magnet Conference this year was held in Orlando, Florida. The theme of this year's conference was 'Empowering Nurses to Transform Care' which aligned well with Nobl's mission to empower care. The theme was weaved throughout the conference from the lineup of conference speakers to the hundreds of vendors that aim to empower and enhance healthcare delivery.

To all the nurses out there, Happy National Nurses Week from your friends at Nobl! Here at Nobl, we are incredibly thankful for your compassionate care and service to those in need. Everyday we work to empower and equip care providers like you with the tools to make your job easier and better.
3 Trends in Nursing We Learned at AONE 2016

All we can say about AONE 2016 is ‘WOW’! The energy and excitement that emanated from nurse leaders during the conference refueled our motivation to advance healthcare innovation. This year, we spoke with hundreds of nurse leaders about their current rounding processes and initiatives. Thanks to these conversations, we’ve been able to identify key challenges nurse leaders consistently face within their organizations.

Nurses #EmpoweringCare during National Healthcare Quality Week
In honor of Healthcare Quality Week, our nurses shared with us about how they ‪#‎EmpowerCare‬ when caring for their patients: "I love getting to know my patients. By asking little questions, a lot of times you can find something you have in common and go on that."
National Nurses Week 2015

This National Nurses Week we celebrated by honoring nurses all across the country for their compassion and relentless commitment to care for those in need.

We continued our annual tradition of bringing cookies to all of our nurses, which prompted — as always — laughs, smiles, and even some high fives. Nurses deserve cookies everyday. We also had the opportunity to speak with nurses that use Hourly Rounding about why they got into nursing and what their most memorable moments have been since they began their careers.
